LA is a fun city, especially Santa Monica, where my son and I just spent a long weekend seeing family and doing business meetings.

It's an area blessed with a number of seriously cool folks (like Siel, the newly-minted PhD known as Green LA Girl) who are involved in the green and Fair Trade movements.
