Congratulations to our sister company Etiko Fair Trade and founder Nick Savaidis, recipients of the 2008 Premier’s Sustainability Award in the Small Business category in Australia!

On April 17th, Premier John Brumby (pictured on the left in this photo with Savaidis) announced the winners at a presentation ceremony at Crown Palladium in Melbourne. The Premier’s Sustainability Awards seek to “encourage and reward excellence and innovation in reducing our environmental footprint while creating economic and social benefits.”

For residents of Australia and New Zealand, Etiko Fair Trade sells the same sports balls we have for North America, footwear and clothing, sourced only from manufacturers who are certified Fair trade or Sweatshop free and from worker and farmer-owned co-operatives.
