Fair Trade Federation conference

My friend Carmen runs the Fair Trade Federation. Although I can’t attend this year (new team member on the way), she asked me to let you know their annual conference is sure to be a worthwhile event.

FTF is inviting interested retailers, wholesalers, and friends to the 2007 conference - Changing Hands: The Work of Fair Trade - in Washington, DC from June 1-3. Please allow me to encourage you to go for the discussions about the future of fair trade and the practical seminars.

I attended the conference and learned so much more about the direction and success of Fair Trade. Everyone there has great energy for Fair Trade and are working toward elevating Fair Trade in the eyes of the public.

And, I saw a representative of yours there…great to see some of Fair Trade Sports products. They are of excellent quality, and I will be making an order for our new shop that is opening up in Truckee, CA at the end of June.

Our website is still being built…so please forgive our appearance while under construction.

Thanks for posting this about the FTF Conference…hopefully next year will be even larger.
